These days social networking sites have affected our relationships positively in some ways and negatively in other ways, therefore, this article will discuss both points of view, agree and disagree.

 First of all, one reason to agree is because they mad our lives much easier for example they help people who are away from home to keep in touch with family and friends. Also they help them to know what happens there, and, all of that can be done in an easy and cheap way. Another example is that people can search for whatever they want to know about easily and these things might be for planning to study, or for business. For example some people like the news, but they have no time to watch the news on TV, so they benefit getting the news from around the world in a short time through the social network. Another example is that I find it expensive to go to workshops or to get private lessons to learn new skills such as cooking. However, by social media I can learn new recipes and watch videos that can help me to improve my cooking very cheaply.

 On the other hand there reasons for disagreeing wither social network sites influence our relationships in a positive way. The reason for that is less privacy for example some people tag others on Facebook while they do not want that, and, people are sharing private information about their lives such as their relationships or future plans, which they should keep to themselves. Secondly people nowadays are becoming less and less social and that is one serous dangerous effect of social networking site. Instead of going out for meeting friends or visiting family they spend time chatting via these networks which might also lead to serious health issues obesity.

 In conclusion, social networking sites have some positive effects and some negative ones as well. My own opinion is that social networking sites have changed the world positively, but some people are using them badly, and that is what is causing the problems so they should try to use them in beneficial way.

A social networking site is a large community existing through the Internet. Social networking sites are a platform to connect to other people, to keep in touch with family or get society feeds. Social networking sites can be used by groups of people, business or individuals. There are a wide variety of social networking sites for example Facebook, Line, WhatApp, Wechat, QQ, Instagram,Twitter and so on. In these days, social networking sites are easy to access and people are free to post or share their ideas or their photos on social networking sites so information on social networking sites can be good or bad.   

Social networking sites make the world smaller than before. Some people think, social networking sites are so useful they spend a lot of time on them .Firstly, they can keep in touch with family or friends who live far away. For example my friend who is studying a master’s degree in Japan, always uses Facebook or Line to keep in touch with me. We have been using social networking sites to keep in touch for five years. Secondly, they get foreign friends and learn their languages or their cultures. For example I have a lot of Japanese friends on Facebook and I have learnt about Japanese culture so last year I decided to go to Japan and I got a lot of novel experiences. Thirdly, they acquire some knowledge such as cooking. For example my aunt learnt how to cook from Facebook and two years ago she opened a restaurant and her food is fabulous. Lastly, they get more involvement with people and issues. In my opinion, social networking sites are an easier method to get information or news.

However, others say, social networking sites are just waste their time and there are more disadvantages than advantages. Firstly, people can become addicted to social networking sites. For example my friend, could not finish her master’s degree because she spent a lot of time using social networking sites therefor she did not have time to finish her thesis. Secondly, they meet up with each other less. For example I did not meet my cousin for more than five years even though we lived in Bangkok. We always used Facebook to talk so last year I decided to meet her before I came to NZ but my feeling was different. We talked like people who did not know each other. I think, our relationship was affected by Facebook. Lastly, some people forget how to write characters because they communicated with others by typing. For example last two years I heard from my Japanese friend, this problem becomes a big problem in groups of people who use social networking sites because most of them forgot how to write their own language.

In conclusion, I do not take sides with this topic. Social networking sites can be positive or negative. We can learn a lot of things that we have never learnt in a classroom through social networking sites. The most important thing that we have to focus on is balancing your time to use social networking sites to get the maximum profit from its and learning how to use its in the right way.

Today, there are many types of social networking services in society and these are spreading rapidly. People use these sites with various ways and social networking sites make these people easy to connect with other people. Some people believe social networking sites are useful to make good relationships while other people think these sites have ill effects on their relationships. This essay discuss both the positive side and negative side in the influence of social networking services.

It is clear that social networking services changed people’s lifestyle conveniently. People can keep in touch with their family or friends easier than before, and these sites developed an important communication tool which are necessary for them. They can make friends all over the world and they can learn other languages, cultures and traditional things. They can share everything such as their photos and opinions, so they can see various daily lives and it gives them new knowledge. Additionally, social networking sites generated the new way of information gathering. If they want to know how the world is going, they can access from on sites such as Twitter and Facebook. People inform others incidents in different views from other media such as newspapers and news programs and sometimes news program use videos which is uploaded on social networking sites because these videos shows us the detail of events. Furthermore, they can express their opinions or important things. For example some political parties use Twitter to notify citizens about their manifestos in Japan. Also Japan experience serious disasters such as flood and volcanic eruption and numerous Japanese use Twitter to request rescue and inform other people about their existence. Social networking sites are useful for people when they encounter accidents.

However, there are ill effects in using social networking sites. Firstly, there is possibility they will become addicts. Meanwhile, they spend lots of time on social networking, then they are isolated from real life. Also, they might be isolated from their virtual world. Most people think it is a virtual world, so if they feel uncomfortable to talk with someone, they can break their relationship easily without any apology. In addition, people feel difficulty of communication with real people because of using social networking sites. They talk with people on these sites but actually they spend time alone because they speak through writing words, so they forget how to talk in real situations. Also people cannot escape from real life even if they are in tough situation which involve relationship. Real life is harder than virtual life because people cannot spend time with only their favourite people. Lastly, they put themselves in danger by these sites. They put photos though which people can realise their faces and they tag information where they take the pictures. People who have ill intentions can find individual information easily and they can find victim’s address and occupation from only phots, so there is a possibility they will be involved with dangerous incidents such as kidnapping and stalking.

There are both positive sides and negative sides on influence in the relationships. I take the neutral position. Social networking sites are useful for people but if they misunderstand the usage, these sites change into harmful things. People should consider their attitude to social networking sites, and use that effectively.

 I`d like to discuss the statement “social networking sites have had a positive influence on relationships”. These days, In Japan, most people use smart phones to access social networking sites. By using a smart phone or PC, we can get information or keep touch with friends, family, and even persons whom we don`t know, but it is a fact that there are many troubles on social networking sites.

 It could be argued that we can connect with others whom we don`t know or get the information easily by using social networking sites, for example when I want to know about musicians and concerts, I always check the musicians` Facebook or Twitter accounts. They are updated very quickly, so we can get latest information. Also, we can keep in touch with friends or family by using social networking sites. For example I belong to a swimming circle in my university, and I am a leader of my circle. I must send e-mails to members, but sometimes one of the members can`t open my mail. Therefore we use LINE. On LINE, it is easy to connect with others safely, and most of Japanese university students have their account. We can send messages to each other, so we can hold a small meeting on LINE.

 However there are many troubles on social networking sites. Firstly, there are many malicious slanders on social networking sites. In Japan, we have 2ch which is a kind of Social Networking Site, but there are many malicious slanders and information which is not credible on 2ch because these information is based on someone`s thinking or imagination. For example when I want to know about companies when I go to a job interview, I sometimes check information on 2ch, but there are many slanders for a companies, and I can`t find information which I want to get, and I am very confused. Secondly, social networking sites have addiction. In Japan, most high school students have their smartphone or PC, and half of them use social networking sites for 5 hours or more a day. Lastly, there are many bullies on social networking sites. For example when I was in high school, there was a bully on Twitter. A certain student took a shameful picture for another student and uploaded it to a social networking site. She was very shocked and quit the high school, for cruel example, I know that a student who was slander on social networking sites committed suicide.

 On balance, course we can get information quickly and share own ideas with friends by using social networking sites, but I think that true relationships are able to be realized to talk to each other face to face. These days technology is developing very quickly, and our lives are becoming very convenient, but I sometimes feel very isolated if I don`t have a smart phone or PC. Therefore I don`t think that social networking sites have had a positive influence on relationships.

            Social networking sites has been become popular since around 2004. A lot of people use LINE, Twitter, or Facebook. They are useful for us to the various things, but they have a dangerous side for some people.

            When we use social networking sites, we are able to various things. Firstly, people can connect to other people easily and they do not have to show personal information. For example, if they use social networking sites such as Twitter, they can use a nickname. Therefore, we are able to protect personal information from dealers who collects other people’s information and sell them. Also, people can find information easily from many people. Social networking sites have various functions such as share the comment. If you use it, you can read other users’ comments. My sister uses Twitter, because she wants to get a lot of information about her favourite artists. She can get the newest information through the social networking sites’ friends. Finally, people can show their information to many people easily, sometimes to get other people’s opinions. For example, some companies such as Coca-Cola use Facebook when they want to show their activity and information to people. For instance, Coca-Cola has introduced some kind of drinks such as Fanta. Also, they often collaborate with another company. In recently, they were collaborated with anime such as One-Piece. They use the Face book for announce their goods.

            However, there are some dangerous points to people using social networking sites. Some people become absorbed in Social networking sites. My friend Hiroyuki uses Twitter and he has about 2000 friends on Twitter. He always worries about his followers’ comments to him. Also, some people have a different character on social networking sites. For example, when my younger sister uses Twitter, she pretends male. I do not that is why, but I think maybe she can have a confidence if she uses another character. I am worrying about it, because when people pretend another person or character, they can be become confused. Also, there is another dangerous side about that people pretends another person. For example, some male pretends women and they approaches other female users. And then, they try to get obscene photos from female users. These victims cannot to talk or difficult to tell about them, so the police doesn’t action properly.

              In conclusion, I think social networking sites have good points and bad points. We should be careful about their dangerous points when we uses social networking sites.

            What do you think about social networking sites all over the world, also these are used by a lot of people. I always looked young people utilize social networking in my country. This essay will focus on whether using social networking sites is good or not.

            People can learn many things from social networking sites. Some entertainers write their information on Facebook, and their fans will be know their things from it. Then, a great number of specific companies advertise their goods. For example, Starbucks Coffee tells consumers about new drinks, and I go to shop to buy new one. Also, we can connect with foreign countries people, and we can became friends. Therefore, social networking sites are tool which have chance to make companions. My friend got acquainted with an American on the social networking sites. They taught each different cultures and had a good time.

            On the other hand, there are many had bad points of social networking sites. Firstly, people lose their eyesight. For instance, one of my friend bought a glasses because of social networking sites. He used his phone to do a chat for a long time, he depended on it. Secondly, using social networking sites is a waste of time. People have been interested in social networking sites all the time, so they can’t focus on their jobs. In addition, using social networking sites spend quite a lot of money. Finally, people avoid relationships with other persons because they feel troublesome to associate with a direct person. They will become adults who lack a communication ability in the future. For example, my cousin was a cheerful disposition on social networking sites, but she doesn’t talk actively when I meet her.

            In short, these reasons explain whether people do social networking sites or not. I think the overuse of social networking sites are not good, so users should make a distinction between their hobbies and their jobs. A recently, many young Japanese people forget that how to write Chinese characters. Sometimes, I can’t write Chinese characters. This problem has an effect on Japanese tradition.

In recent years an increasing number of people have focused on social networking sites, such as Facebook, WeChat, Line, and Twitter which have become a normal part of our everyday life. However, some people argue that social networking sites have had a positive influence on relationships, whereas, others believe that they have a negative impact on people’s native neighbours. In my view, they do more good than harm.

First of all, using networking sites has a negative impact on people’s neighbours. This is primarily because, it waste considerable time on your phone and have less time to focus on your neighbours who are just beside you, such as your parents and classmates. In addition, there is an increasing number of juveniles using social networking sites by smart phone. Therefore, they will pose a threat to juveniles’ eyesight and children’s fitness. Finally, personal information security is also a big problem. That’s because these social networking sites share your personal information on the Internet, such as your phone number, and your email and home address, and some applications let users complete their personal information being compulsory, so they will also have a potential negative influence on your family members’ lives.

On the other hand, social networking sites also have a positive impact on relationships. This is due to the fact that they allow people from different counties and backgrounds to have a connection. Therefore, through this way, we can make some new friends from abroad. They also provide an opportunity for domestic people to have a connection with foreigners, and learn some knowledge of differences from culture to culture. Furthermore, such sites are also good for some undergraduates who study abroad and other cities to keep in touch with family and friends who live far away. In addition, they can also have video chat instead of voice communication, and can also chat with a group of people. Therefore, they have a positive impact on people’s communication and relationships.

To sum up, although these sites have some negative impact on people’s neighbours, juveniles’ fitness and personal information security, I argue that such sites have some positive impact on learning more about foreign cultures and on people’s communication and relationships.

Social networking sites are a part of people’s life. People usually use them when they communicate with other people. It is a good idea to use them but they have some bad sides. I am going to discuss the positive points and negative points of using social networking sites.

People can contact with their friends and families who live far away by using social networking sites. In the past, it was not commonplace to have computers and gadgets such as laptops and iPhones, but, nowadays, almost of people have these tools. In my case, when my brother went to America to study English, my parents and I could not to call him because a calling fee was very expensive. We chose to talk each other by sending letters. It took 1 or 2 weeks to get them from my family in Japan to him in the USA. However, I can talk with them by using LINE which we can use to call and send a message for free even though I am in New Zealand, now.  Moreover people can get back, and keep, in touch with old friends. For example, they can find them by searching for their names and their school names on Facebook. In addition, personally, I have gotten a lot of friends who are from foreign countries. Some of them have gone back to their countries but I can still talk with them on sites such as Instagram.

On the other hand, there are some reasons which social networking sites have negative effects on people’s relationships. First of all, they can socialize with other people without meeting so some people do not try to see one another in the flesh. One of my friends is a person who is influenced by them. He used to be outgoing when he was a university students. However, he always stays at his home now. When he wants to chat with someone, he just uses Facebook messenger or LINE. I have not seen him out for a long time, therefore, he might lack communication skills in the future. Also, people spend on using social networking sites much time at home alone. It means they might not talk enough face to face with friends and family members. In my case, I sometimes talk with my friends who live in other countries too much by using such sites in my room so I do not chat with my host family in New Zealand. It is a good opportunity to speak with Kiwis so I do not think that I behave as the correct way.

In conclusion, social networking sites can make our social life easy and convenient. I believe that we cannot live without these sites because we are used to communicating with our friends and families through such sites. However, we might reduce our precious opportunities to talk face to face with them so we should use them carefully.

Social networking nowadays has had such a big influence on our lives whether it’s been good or bad. We use social networking nowadays to communicate with our loved ones, to do research, to help us with studying and we also use it to make new friends and in our everyday life. However, we don’t often realise that it could have a bad influence in our lives and mainly on relationships.

I agree with the above statement because of the fact that social networking has made it easier for us to communicate with our loved ones. Especially using applications such as Skype and social networking sites such as Facebook to keep up to date with what they do and that’s what I’m keeping in touch with my family by these programme’s to talk to them daily. They are also good for building new friendships and benefiting from the fact that it is easy to access information. I still know some of my friends who I met on Facebook and we keep updating each other and some of them have been to my country. Even I went to their countries such as Spain and United Arab Emirates.

I disagree with the above statement because of the fact that social networking does cost a lot of money when it comes to paying the Internet bills. Most people do not realize that when spending time on the Internet socializing or when spending money on getting data from their phones, but if you add it all up it all costs a lot of money to run. It is also bad in that social networking can sometimes ruin relationships as it is easy to hack websites and emails these days and if someone wants to ruin a relationship between two people then they easily can by posting something on behalf of them or sending something to one another without asking for the permission of that person.

In conclusion, social networking sites have had a positive influence on relationships. I agree with the statement because they made it easier to communicate with friends and family and it is easier to make new friendships through social networking sites. However I disagree with this statement because social networking sites can sometimes ruin relationships through hacking and paying for the Internet is expensive.

In modern life, we are surrounded by various social networking sites, such as Facebook, Instagram and WeChat. All of these have become an essential part of our daily life. I believe that those sites play three main roles in our society, enabling people to make of friends, stimulating them to acquire more knowledge and influencing people’s decisions and mind, and the influences are in general positive.

To begin with, take Weblog for instance. It is the Chinese version of Twitter. Thanks to the people’s diligent work, uploading some useful knowledge, such as some basic survival skills, cooking methods and life tips, it can help people enjoy their life. Furthermore, people can get sufficient messages through social networking sites and be more involved in social affairs than ever before. For example, when natural disasters occur or some fatal diseases spread, those media can covey first-hand information to the public, and then the public can donate to victims immediately. Moreover, the contributions of social networking sites to our society are essential. As they can entertain us. We enjoy what social networking sites give to us. Such as, appreciation of pictures of art give people pleasure of living from mental level. Those sites are a result of ordinary people’s need to communicate and their desire to exchange arguments or opinions.

However, social networking sites also give us torment in our life. Actually, some people who are addicted to the Internet, are threatened by the danger of those sites. Facts show Internet addiction has become the biggest cause of juvenile delinquency, as youngsters tend to imitate crimes they have read on these seedy websites.  There are various problems, such as some people upload some sensitive or even uncivil comments on their home pages which are not suitable for juveniles.  Furthermore, some information from social networking sites might be presented in a certain way, because some people on the Internet, have their own opinions and bias or even distort the truth. In addition, others use the new technology to do many horrible things. A case in point is we all know that terrorism has dramatically increased the level of destroying culture and killing harmless civilians. Unfortunately, some terrorists are using social networking sites to contact each other to execute bombings.

To put it in a nutshell, to social networking sites, different people hold different ideas. We all know that social networking sites has exerted tremendous influence on individuals and the society. It has revolutionized people’s original lifestyle and improved the quality of our lives. But many of its negative effects should no longer be neglected. As for me, those sites are an absolutely necessary revolution for modern society.

These days, people connect with other easily, because of social networking sites like Facebook, Instagram, LINE and so on. In fact, most of them always use their mobile phones and they cannot be parted from them.

 There are some advantages of social networking sites. One is that we can get new information quickly. For instance, if a train is delayed due to an accident, we can know about it soon on Twitter before we arrive at a station. In addition, we can also share the information with others. We can feel that we will help them by telling them the important information. Another advantage is that we can keep in touch with our family and friend even if we are far away. I often connect with my parents on LINE, despite I study abroad. Fortunately, it’s almost free! Furthermore, this also means that we can make many kinds of friends around the world, because we can connect with them if we have a same hobby and favourite thing.

On the other hand, social networking sites can cause some problems for us. One problem is that communication skills could drop. For instance, we can focus on opinions on social networking sites more carefully than in conversations even though we chat with others directly. It means that we are likely to have less face to face communication. Another disadvantage is that we are easily influenced by others. We would depend on other’s opinions and change our ideas quickly if our ideas are minority on social networking sites. This can cause us to decrease confidence and not to deal with problems by ourselves. In addition, someone tend to spend money too much, because they might not pay attention to how much they paid. For example, various stamps are sold on LINE and they are very cheap and cute. As a result, we can fall for cheap trick and buy them too much.

In conclusion, I think that social networking sites have a few disadvantages, but they bring more positive influence to us than negative, because they make our lives more comfortable and convenient than before. Therefore, we need to use social networking sites correctly while paying attention to the negative influence.

            We are living in an age of social networking sites. They are supposed to help us, specifically in communication. Nevertheless, they are now often being used for cheating. In spite of this, I strongly argue that there are more positives than negatives in using these sites.

            The first argument against using social networking sites is that some people can be cheated. This is because people are able to counterfeit information by exaggerating stories easily. For example, my friend was purchasing a camera on Facebook and he had to pay money in advance about $400 and then swindler did not send a camera to him. This is because he had not known whether which advertisements could be trusted. Furthermore, concealment and security are two anxieties that can come with using such sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Line. Despite the fact we can erase pictures that have been posted, people could still have saved them in just a few seconds. For example, I posted an outrageous picture on Line at night 2 months ago but I did not realize that until in the dawn. Therefore, people have to use these sites cautiously. Additionally, people should be aware of using them excessively because they can waste time. Regarding this problem, they are sitting in front of a display so long and they can become isolated because they are always chatting rather than going out together with their friends. Consequently, they should go out to live an offline life and meet other friends face to face.

            Nonetheless, it has not all been undesirable. First of all, social networking sites have been used in many ways. For example, my friend’s commercial company was successful because it became faster when they were cooperating with other establishments through the Internet. Secondly, people get to know others easily all over the world and also they are able to find their friends that they have not met for a long time by using such sites. For example, I had never met one of my primary school friends for so long a time but finally we could find each other again by using Facebook. Another an imperative opinion is that people can know current occasions easily such as from a news feed on Instagram or from some news pages on Facebook. For instance, I could recognise the announcements from medical schools about examinations by using them.

            In assumption, social networking sites have given us the prospective to influence our goals easier than in the previous. Conversely, we should not let ourselves become addicted to them.

Group Activity

last week, my classmates and I interviewed some local people how does feel about technology or science doesn't good for every life. And then I collected and first-hand information of this topic.

To begin with, some people who I interviewed said we are surrounded by various technological device, which have become an essential part of our live. Science can bring out people's creativity, view and broaden our horizon. We enjoy what technology brings to us and it makes our life better than ever before.

By contrast, other people said technology will occupy lots of our spare time. Take smartphone for instance, it is bitter truth that when some person who was invited to a party, but at that occasion ,they just paying their own smartphone instead of chatting with each other.

I believe that party is a place where people need to talk.

Interview Activity

Interview activity was a good activity. It gave me a chance to talk with native speakers. I had an experience like this before in Thailand.when I studied master's degree, I interviewed people who walked on the road. It was difficult because people was in a hurry so they did not want to talk. On Friday this activity was more exciting because I had to speak English and to write their opinions, I had to be careful to listen what they said. This activity gave me more confident to speck English. My topic on Friday was "politician should be young" . I have interviewed five people. There were three people agreed and two people disagreed. In my opinion, I disagree with this statement because young people have less experience than adult.

It was a good experience for me to interview to people around Otago Uni, because I haven't ever experienced it before. People who we asked were very kind ! Everyone answered our survey, even though they were busy.

My experience from interviewing

Last week on friday, I and my friend called Ryoko did interview which is "the marriage can't last forever". Therefore, it was quite exciting thing for us because we had never done any interviews before. We had to ask people around the University of Otago that "Do you agree or disagree about that statement" so we've got 2 agree people and 6 disagree people. Once we've done, we've got lots of experiences for example how to talk to stranger or how to listen to native speakers that talk very fast.

An artist who has a firm belief

"Do you think that art is expensive waste of money?" Although we say art, it includes a lot of fields, such as music, paintings, buildings, even antiques. Every people whom we asked a question answered "Disagree.". But actually, it was easy to anticipate that people answer "Disagree" with ordinary reasons before we interview, but I was surprised that they had various ideas for arts. Above all, I was very impressed by the man who was entering a building. He told us "Art is the way to express ourself and even human beings. If you meet a person who agrees with your question, Bring here!". Suddenly I caught a sight of the signboard "Music Building", and I realized why he told us about art with fever. There is something about his belief that makes him different from other people.

I interviewed Kiwi people

 

 

It was a valuable experience for me to interview Kiwi people. Our topic was “Politician should be younger” and I interviewed 5 people with Rose. It was also quite hard for me because I’m shy, so Rose supported me. Thank you Rose. We just sat on a border in front of the Plaza café, and interviewed people who was going to go gym. At first we were going to go café to ask the topic, but people enjoyed their conversation or their ranch. We hesitated to talk to them because they looked busy. I found that was difficult to talk to a new people even if they talked in a friendly way. In Japan, there is a pert time job which pass out packets of tissues. If I do this job, I couldn’t do well. People is busy and sometimes people don’t take tissues, and I would feel sad. It is hard to talk to people who look busy, but this time, they talked with us willingly although the question was hard to answer. The result of question is that; 3 people agreed to the topic because young people have new ideas and 2 people disagree because they have less experiences than adults.

Cadbury

I went to Cadbury with my friend and enjoyed watching the.chocolate waterfall.
After we made a tour of the factory, we drank hot chocolate. I don't want chocolate now because I've eaten enough chocolate!

I don't like sitting the chair and can't listen the story of people for long time,so it was good for me.
Sometimes , I confused that how should I say when I asked a question to people . However, I could learn about various things. I couldn't speak English and listening well, but I was really enjoyed.

 Dunedin is really similar to Hokkaido, so Dunedin life is comfortable.
Sometimes, I want to eat lamb.

Class Activity

 I interviewed many people of the downtown by the first class activity. I and Ken asked eight persons about 『 Art is an expensive waste of money. 』 We thought that we wanted to hear by half of the opinions of an adult and the youth. However, we could not meet young people because the time was noon, and a school was'nt yet over.

After interviewing it, all the members in eight had an opposite opinions for this question. Furthermore, I asked them to their reason. They had the deep thought, and an art has very valuable thing for them. 

Sometime, I said ‘ Excuse me! ’ to people in there. We were ignored by them, and my heart was almost broken, but we could get their ideas.

In addition, we were able to know some feeling of people who do the news related work. It is hard work for me to do it, but to interview many persons is very good activity!!

What I obtained through an interview

We interviewed people about each topics on class.  My topic was ''Modern technology isn't good for our life.'' In my opinion, modern technology is useful for us.

After interviewing five people, I knew good points and bad points of this topic.

Good points are easy to search, can use GPS and very convenient.
Bad points are dependence on technology such us internet. People don't write character and forget kanji.

Through these opinion, I learn modern technology are very good, but also bad. And, to hear opinion of people, I understood more than before. This is very good experience for me.

My impressions of Friday’s class

Long time no upload to this blog. haha

First of all, thanks for letting me participate in this class yesterday. I have to say thank you to you.

I felt that was so fan for me. My pair was Kazuki but when we started to ask for other people, the report had almost been finished!! So, I thought he had a great work by himself before we became pair. 

By the way, we asked students who were from different countries, Kiwi, Soudi Arabia, china and so on. However, almost of them said nearly same answers. It was interesting!! I was so surprised because I thought they would say different opinions by each countries so actually I wanted to look up more.

My choice My phone

                                 

                       

I have had a lot of mobile phones (Nokia, Samsung, I-mobile) before I bought iphone5s. I bought iphone5s in Bangkok about two years ago when I was a master degree student. It cost me about 25,000 baht, it was expensive. There were two factors that influenced me to decide about buying a new phone. Firstly, I believe that apple products always have a higher quality than other brands. I do not want to buy a new phone every month. I thing, If i buy iphone5s, I do not have to buy a new one at least three years. Secondly, iphone5s applications are useful. I can do whatever i want on my phone. For example sending e-mail, calling my family, listening music and watching movie. I have used iphone5s for two years and it has never had any problems.     

My iPhone

            First off all, I have got iPhone5 since last years. When I bought it, I aware of usefulness and practicality the most. This is because I wanted to use as long as possible. Secondly, I would look at price that no more than $500 because I had to save my money to buy other things. The last feature is that the colour because I prefer using black colour than others. It is comfortable for looking after and cleaning.

MY PHONE

I checked a phone’s pixel figure at first when I bought my current mobile phone because I like taking pictures and I prefer to high picture quality. I also considered about size because I often enjoy watching videos on Internet, but I have poor eyesight, so big screen is better for me. The brand and color are not so important for me. If I don’t like my phone’s color, I will buy a phone cover which is my favorite color or design. I think useful features are important factor, however it is okay I can use only e-mail, phone call, SNS and camera.

My Love For The iPhone

 First of all, my favorite brand is Apple which produced the iPhone series. What I like about this brand is that they create the phone into many sizes and colors, making this phone suitable for both males and females. Another thing which makes me always purchase from Apple is there are different amounts of gigabytes available, such as 16gb, 32gb, 64gb and 128gb, so you can pick which one is suitable for your needs. The Apple brand creates Laptops, iPads and computers as well as the smartphones, which they have a special service that you can save something, such as photos in one of your Apple devices and it will then be saved to all of your other Apple products. The iPhone can last you for years if you look after it well. This is why my phone will always be the Apple iPhone!

MOBILE PHONE

The usage of Mobile phone has been spread worldwide. In the current highly competitive cellphone market, a lot of manufacturer of smartphone for the sake of attracting customers to buy their products, producing it more intelligently and friendly.

As for me, there are some elements that affect me which brands I should buy. Then, operating system takes the top position in term of deciding what kinds of phone I should buy. such as, I will never buy smartphone for Android. Next is appearance of phone. Also, I like discussing with my friends about the phones we recently use. So no mater who after using a smartphone , we usually eager to recommend it to each other and exchange felling of using our own cellphone.

My Mobile Phone

The phone I have got first time was not iPhone. Since the iPhones became popular, however, I desperately wanted to get one because it looked cool such as innovatory appearance and I thought touching the display is the easiest way to write an email, a message and so on. Therefore I bought an iPhone4S even though I used the first phone at the time. As I use the iphone4S, I realized that it is more useful than the others. In this way, I have tendency to choose iPhone series. Now I am using an iPhone5C and I have been using it for one and a half year. It is time to think about a new phone. Of cause, I will select one of the iPhone series. So what influence me to buy mobile phone is appearance and function.

 

Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump is an American guy who just has below-average intelligence. He was born in a small town of Alabama. When he was a primary school student, in order to escape insult from other students in school, he listened to a girl’s advice to run when he suffered from them again. Interestingly, just because of running, he was granted special admission to University. When he graduated from his University, the government recruited some new soldiers also involved Forrest Gump at the same time. He made two friends in the army. One of them was called Bones, while another one was Doyle who was a military officer.

However, he could not forget Jenny Curran even if he fighting in the war. He wants to know that what happened to her. After the war ended, Forrest Gump received president Johnson’s interview as the hero. After that，he came back to his hometown where he was born. Meanwhile, he met Jenny again. Then he became a enterpriser whom did shrimping business. Fortunately，Forrest and Jenny had a child.

What I like best thing about this Fiction is the Forrest Gump’s spiritual touch. Forrest Gump experiences each historical period in which the world changes constantly. Whenever, wherever, regardless of other people in the same place, he did not want to change in his own style. He is simple and is good.

MY CHOICE

When it comes to choosing which device to buy, I always have some particular factors to help me decide which one is the best for me. The most important is that it has useful practical features that I need for everyday use. The size of it comes next, I think it’s helpful to have a pocket size phone, and of course the price must be affordable. The idea that most of my friends or family have the same or that is fashionable has never been a factor for me because in the end it should suite my lifestyle and choice.

I bought my phone more than two years ago. It's unavoidable that advertisement is one of the main reasons for I bought the phone. In addition, most of my friends had been using this brand's phone before I bought it, so I got a lot of good feedback of the phone from my friends. Therefore, I bought it and I have been using it until now, so it's a good choice.

Animal Testing

          Animal testing takes place in three main areas biomedical research, product safety, and especially in the animal laboratories around the world. It has been happening in the past until now.

          This book is about scientists, researchers, students, medical students, and doctors.

          There are two both sides in regard to using animal testing. Firstly, the main argument for animal testing is that while research find that the animals can feel pain, many scientists use pain-relieving medicine during experiments so that the animals feel as little as possible. Secondly, responsible scientists care a great deal about the animals they test by using as few animals as possible and testing as humanely as possible. Another important is that scientists use animals to test medications and chemicals that are very important in medical a profession.

          On the other hand, the argument against animal testing is that many of drugs that were developed through animal testing should test without the use of animals. Moreover, animals have the same right as humans to live and not suffer. Thirdly, animals are not exactly the same as humans and may not respond in the same ways of treatments.

          Personally, I agree with both of sides, I think animals testing is necessary because it saves people’s lives. And also animals make good models for disease and treatments because they are the most similar to people when compare with other animals. However, I think that no matter how careful researchers are, animals can still feel pain and stress from being kept in cages and subjected to tests. In addition, scientists can use artificial human tissues and computer models instead of using animals.
