Personally, I believe some superstitions, for example, 8
is a lucky number and unmarried people take the last piece on a dish because it means they
will marry someone good-looking. This is because I’ve heard about them many times in
Thailand. However, there are no reasons or research to confirm they are true.
I think the reason why number 8 is thought lucky number is 8 reminds us "INFINIT". Thus Japanese believe lucky number is 8, as you see the reading.

ReplyDelete8(eight=八) means "spread" in Japan, so Japanese like number 8.
